For all judged entries, please complete the Entry Registration Form to pre-register your submission/s and return it to enquiries@thepromotionaledge.co.uk. 

 

After registration, please supply all the component parts of your entry in one single PDF. 

 

In all the judged categories it is specifically the external appearance that the judges will be focusing on to include: windows, doors, materials, elevations, architecture, design and the mix of properties, landscaping [where appropriate] access and car parking etc. You are advised to include details in respect of any Eco features such as water harvesting, EV charging points, discreet refuse areas, cycle stores, community open spaces, paths and cycleways, tree planting etc. 

 

It is recommended that images should focus on the overall external appearance of the project, including its location.  If available, before and after images would be useful to provide the Judges with a reference as to how the development has enhanced the area.

 

Please include as many external images as possible to showcase the project and provide internal images of key rooms to highlight the specification and provide context.

 

The written content should focus on features and benefits, price points, location and any design and delivery challenges. Please provide a site layout plan and, whilst it’s not essential for the judging process, floor plans will be useful to assess layout considerations.

 

It would be helpful, but not essential to also provide details of the key companies who have assisted with the project delivery e.g. architects, construction, ecology, highways and planning consultants etc.

The entry should be visually eye-catching with a key facts summary page briefly outlining the project, number of units, title of category being entered etc.

 

The Judges kindly request a maximum of 1,000 words, in addition to the Design and Access Statement which is specifically required for the Property / Development of Outstanding Architectural Merit category, specification highlights and any supporting endorsement/statements.

 

The PDF entry should be sent to enquiries@thepromotionaledge.o.uk marked for the attention of the 2026 Surrey & Southern Counties Awards Judges.  The deadline for all entries is Friday 25th September.

ENTRY FEE

A fee of £255.00 + VAT per entry is required.  An invoice will be raised to the company submitting the entry for the sum of £255 + VAT and upon receipt of payment entry/s will be submitted and registered with the Judging Panel. 

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Please note: the entry fee will be deducted from the cost of six or more tickets/places that are booked for the 2026 Surrey & Southern Counties Awards.  We would kindly request at the point of booking tables/places that you mention that an entry has been made.  Please also note that the same company name must be used for all invoices.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Tickets will only be refunded should the event be cancelled in its entirety due to extenuating circumstances such as Government Restrictions.

In the unlikely event of the Venue [G Live, Guildford] not being able to stage the Awards on 3rd December 2026 the event will be rescheduled for a future date, and no refunds will be given. 

Tickets are not transferable between companies or individuals.

CELEBRITY GUEST SPEAKER

The 2026 celebrity guest speaker has been booked in the good faith that he/she will be in attendance and in accordance with their Production, TV contracts and filming schedules which take priority.  Every effort is made at the time of signing the contract with the agency to ensure key dates are avoided, but it should be noted that the publicised speaker could be subject to change at short notice.
